MSF International General Assembly Website

MSF - Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) is an humanitarian independent organization that provides medical and humanitarian help in about 63 countries around the world.
MSF provides assistance when catastrophic events — such as armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, or natural disasters — overwhelm local health systems. MSF also assists people who face discrimination or neglect from their local health systems or when populations are otherwise excluded from health care.
The International General Assembly (IGA) is the highest body within MSF: it safeguards medical humanitarian mission and provides general and strategic orientations across all Operational Directorates and associations.
In December 2011 the very first IGA is taking place, and we at Reflab are glad to be providing the online support to the event: we have designed and developed a minisite (access reserved to MSF association members), that provides all member with background documentation, profiles of candidates and representatives, and the possibility to discuss with both, openly. The site provides also all practical information for the event, that will be streamed live.
Similarly to the GRP website, the IGA is a primary tool for inclusion and participation to the activities of the assembly, and the whole International Association will soon be running entirely on such digial tools: the first IGA is also the last "physical" assembly of the newborn Association.
