Plone MultiEvent: manage sets of events with a single content type

A product for Plone 2.5 which allows to insert multiple dates and locations for an event and to show always the most recent item in the main view.

Have you ever had to insert into Plone an event that occurs in different dates and locations?

A meeting in different towns, a repeating presentation, any kind of tour..  these are the cases in which MultiEvent can help.

MultiEvent features all the data which are usually inserted in a Plone event, plus some additional fields to list past and/or future occurrences of the event.

Old events are archived and upcoming are presented and indexed using a rotation mechanism, so that the main MultiEvent view can be always up-to-date while the additional dates and locations remain visible.

Dependencies

MultiEvent is created for Plone 2.5 and it makes use of DataGridField.
